Data Equity's Steve Stockstill and His Time Matters Connection
In August 2007, Steve Stockstill left a rewarding eight-year career at Time Matters/LexisNexis to pursue life “outside the box,” transforming Data Equity LLC into a full-time software solutions provider. Both as software engineer and CEO, Steve has always been committed to delivering world-class business solutions.
In 1999, Steve was recruited by Time Matters founders Bob Butler and Kevin Stilwell. Steve was brought on board to develop the first Enterprise Edition of Time Matters, which was released in the spring of 2000, and remains one of the most successful product launches in Time Matters history.
Beyond the TM Enterprise Edition, Steve served as a senior team member on every significant Time Matters development initiative, including the World Server Edition and Billing Matters. Steve's areas of engineering specialty also include (though are not limited to) Form Styles, Document Management, Reporting Systems, Import/Export Systems, Outlook Sync, Pocket PC Sync and the Total Practice Advantage Content management System.
Soon after LexisNexis acquired Time Matters, Steve was promoted to Desktop Development Team Manager, and ultimately, replaced Kevin Stilwell as Director of Software Engineering for the Time Matters business unit. In this capacity, Steve was responsible for the development of all Time Matters software products and platforms through version 8 SR2.
For over a decade prior to joining Time Matters, Steve developed commercial software for a myriad of business applications, including project management, project budgeting, project estimating, accounting and billing, RTC and FDIC legal billing and accounting, case management, and docketing systems.
Steve's pioneer connection to Time Matters uniquely positions him to provide custom software solutions and top-tier support for Time Matters consultants and IT professionals.
Beauty of style and harmony and grace and good rhythm depend on Simplicity.
